"Dance With Flare"
My daughter posed for this graceful dancer with attitude! Based on her part as "Spanish Chocolate" in the Nutcracker, she has an obvious flare!
This painting is done with artist quality watercolor paints, including some gorgeous antique gold watercolors, on 140 lb cold press Artistico paper. It measures 8.5"x11" and is the perfect size for a mat with an 8"x10" opening. I have shown it here, cropped to 8"x10".

"Watercolor Abstract"
This is an original 9"x11" watercolor painting on Yupo!
Yupo is a synthetic paper and the paint pigments float on the paper. It's a unique surface to paint on. This is created by careful placemet of pigments - including gold - and moving and waiting for the drying process. Then, I carefully chose areas in which I created lines and white foam with a wet brush and removing paint.
To me, this looks like a bubbling brook, but others have said it looks like a tide pool or semiprecious stone. Of course, an abstract has to be interpreted by you!
It's sealed with Krylon spray.
