COMMISSIONS
Commissioned by "Cedar House Soaps"
I take commissions on landscapes, gardens, florals and occasionally homes or buildings. Sorry, but I don’t do portraits. You can see a few of the commissioned paintings I’ve sold here on this page.
The price of a commission can vary greatly depending on size, surface, whether you want to just request a specific type of painting, or provide a specific reference picture or want me to combine reference pictures to create your own unique painting.

button below and please be sure to include a description of your idea, if you have photo reference pictures (they must be copyright free), what size you want and how soon you would like it completed. Don’t forget to include your contact email.
Then I will email you to let you know if it is a project I feel I could consider. If it is, I will have you send me the photo references if you have them, and I will email you a contract, price quote and an estimate on how long it will take me.
I am happy to deal with inquiries and it’s not a problem if you decide against it after seeing the quote and contract, so feel free to contact me with your idea.
If we both agree on the price and timing, I will have you print, sign and mail two copies of the contract along with the down payment. I will sign both copies and mail one back to you.
In my contract, I require a non-refundable down payment that covers the cost of the materials. I will make every effort to fulfill your request – including, in some cases, doing a pre-painting sketch for your approval. The painting will be shipped after final payment is received. The price quoted will include shipping costs. If however, for any reason, you decide not to accept the painting, you are not committed to pay any more, and I keep the painting and am free to sell it if I desire.
